I Graduated from University!

So, I’ve been a little quiet recently, but that’s because yesterday, I graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA degree with honours in English.

I started at Exeter University in September 2013, and that seems like such a long time ago. Yet, on the other hand, these last three years have gone so quickly. Studying English, I focused on Victorian literature, modern genre fiction (mainly crime and sensation fiction), Virginia Woolf, Renaissance literature, and (of course) creative writing. In my final semester, I wrote my dissertation on the relationship between madness and death in Louisa May Alcott’s thrillers.

I had a lovely time at graduation yesterday, spending the day with my family and friends.

Needless to say, I got no writing done yesterday–but I plan to rectify that today!
