NaNoWriMo 2012: Day 24 – Draft 1 Completed!

Yes, that’s right. It’s day 24, and I have completed the first draft of my NaNoWriMo 2012 novel, Forbidden Hearts. It’s wordcount is at 71,249 words-so, on the short side compared to my first novel, Spirit Of Fire.

I have now begun work on Forbidden #2, Forbidden Embrace, which I’m really excited about. I wanted to keep writing everyday this month, keeping up with the whole idea of NaNoWriMo, but I won’t be adding this book’s word count to my NaNo account–after all, it’s a completely different book to Hearts, despite it being the sequel.

I have come up with what I hope is a really whacky plot for Embrace, and I just can’t stop myself from writing it. At the moment, I think it’ll be around 70k words in length too. I’ll be updating my fiction page soon, and creating a new page for Forbidden Embrace, with its synopsis, once I’ve written it!

Ideally, I’d love to finish this book in a month or less (maybe 24 days too?), but we’ll see. I’ve planned for a total of three Forbidden books, but it’s unlikely that I’ll be able to start on the third (currently untitled) book until March/April time, due to having to finish the first draft of the second book in the Spirit Of Fire series! Exciting times!
