Short Story Update: The Photograph

Yesterday I heard from the editor at Yesteryear Fiction that they are going to publish my short story, ‘The Photograph’, on their front page on 1st July 2011 (it’ll remain in the archives after that). Keep watching the Fiction Page I’ll post a link to it when ‘The Photograph’ is published so you can read it. And don’t forget to look at it on the homepage of Yesteryearfiction.com on July 1st!

And in other news: I’m still continuing with my young adult fantasy series (yes, it has vampires – but with a completely new twist, don’t worry!) and hope to have the first draft of books one to five finished by the end of the summer – ambitious, I know! So far I’ve planned out a total of eleven books which make up the series, and have a detailed plan for each written out. If I start a series I like to know roughly what’s going to happen in the next books, after all together the whole series is kind of like one HUGE book, so that’s why I need to have several completely drafts of several of the books before I can fully complete the first book. But I’ll mention more about this in a later post.
