Blogger Of The Year 2013 and other news!
So, the other day, I found out that I’ve been nominated for Blogger Of The Year 2013! It was quite a surprise as I didn’t know that anyone had nominated me (and I didn’t even know about Blogger Of The Year either!), but I was flattered when I discovered it.
You can see the full nomination list here, and please, please vote for me. 🙂
The 15 December 2012 saw the publication of my third nonfiction ebook, ‘Rabbits As Pets’, which is part of the ‘Mad On Animals’ series. You can learn more about this book here, and buy it here (UK) and here (US).
I’ll also be writing the third Mad On Animals book very, very shortly… so, stay tuned!
Recently, I haven’t done nearly as much writing as I’d have liked to have done. At the moment, I’m working on Forbidden Embrace, the sequel to Forbidden Hearts, and am at around the 32,000 word mark. I love these books as although the titles sound all ‘romance-y’, they’re not romance books! Once you’ve read them, you’ll understand how the titles are kind of metaphorical for the characters’ dilemas, and how they fit into this new dystopian world that I’m writing about.
Aside from this, I’ve done a lot more planning for Blood Of The Phoenix (Spirit Of Fire book #2) with a lot of changes happening to the original plot/outline. I’ve already written about 30,000 words of this book, but like Spirit Of Fire, it’s going to most likely be around 130,000 words when complete–unlike the Forbidden books, which are around 70,000 words.
That’s it for now, but please do vote for me for Blogger Of The Year 2013. It would be awesome to win!
