Writing Update: The Spirit Of Fire Series & More…

Just a quick post, informing you of the latest regarding my new fantasy YA series which I announced a couple of days ago via twitter and on this site. I have started writing my new series: The Spirit of Fire Series. Check out the series page here. — Yes, I made a quick page for this series, ready to post updates on. The first book will be called ‘Spirit Of Fire’, and I’ve planned for there to be six books in this series. I’m still writing the first book at the moment – the estimated total word count will be around 85,000 words. And I’m having (and have had) so much fun writing it! I hope to have finished writing it by June and to have finished editing, cutting and rewriting by August.

I still haven’t decided whether I’m going to be pursuing the traditional publishing route for this series (like I did with my short stories) or whether I’ll be self-publishing them, as I really do like the freedom and control that that pathway offers. Hmm… descisions, descisions!

On the 10th March my latest short story was released, entitled ‘It Doesn’t Matter Now’. It was published by Daily love and can be read here.

And on the 25th April 2012 my next short story, ‘The Creature’, will be published by Yesteryear Fiction. It’ll be my fourth story to have been published by Yesteryear Fiction.
