  • Just one book? That hard. Lol. I’ve read a bunch of book in Jennifer Estep’s Elemental Assassin series and I just absolutely loved them! It’s one of my favorite series! I also re-read the first 3 books in The Mortal Instruments by Cassie Clare, and I also adore that series! I’m about to start book 4 pretty soon here!

  • So far, my favorite book this year I have read has been Wormwood by D.H. Nevins. I have never had a book turn my emotions so fast or so drastically before. I went from struggling to want to continue to read it, to needing to know what happens next and feeling completely and utterly heartbroken at what does.

    • Hello Keturah! You’ve won an e-copy of A Dangerous Game! I’ll email you in just a moment with instructions on claiming your prize.

  • The best book that I’ve read so far this year is The Black Coats because it taught me that revenge is not always the way to go about things. I really connected to the characters.

  • Howl’s Moving Castle by Dianna Wynne Jones. It’s the basis for the animated film by Miyazaki and brought back a lot of memories

  • The best book I’ve read so far this year was My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing!!! It was AMAZING. The twists and turns kept me guessing and I was SHOCKED by the ending! It had me on the edge of my seat and I’m recommending it to everyone.

  • Amy-Louize Kuelahway

The best book I’ve read so far this year Empire of Storms by Sarah J Maas! This story reached such epic proportions, had a hell of cliffhanger ending, and left me crushing hard on Lysandra 😍

    • Hello! You’ve won an e-copy of A Dangerous Game! I’ll email you in just a moment with instructions on claiming your prize. Congrats!

  • Legendary by Stephanie Garber! I really enjoy how Garber keeps the reader in suspense by following the characters as they make good and bad choices to win their hand against Caraval. It truly does feel that the reader is a participant or at least a spectator in the games!

  • Thanks for the chance!
The best book I’ve read this year is Other Words For Smoke by Sarah Griffin, she’s an Irish author and I’m completely in love with her aesthetic and writing,

    • A single book?? You mean I have to choose just one? Och, I dinnae think I can choose just one favourite! But the *first* one that comes to mind is Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard! A remarkable multi-POV fantasy with complex plots and even more complex characters. (And the author herself is brilliant and as kind as she is clever!)

  • Matthew Archibald

My favorite book that I’ve read so far this year is The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. Not only did I grieve, worry, and rejoice with the characters, I learned A LOT about the black experience in America, and the challenges they face, even today.

  • I read an early copy of The Merciful Crow and it has become one of my all time favorite books. It has enemies to lovers which is one of my favorite tropes

    • Hello! You’ve won an e-copy of A Dangerous Game! I’ll email you in just a moment with instructions on claiming your prize.

  • I really enjoyed Wait for It by Mariana Zapata. She incorporated a beautiful family dynamic with two little boys. Thank you for the opportunity!

  • Heather @ NightlyReading

This is so hard! Just one??? How bout two? The Wicked King and The Last Voyage of Poe Blythe. Both were read in one sitting!

Your trailer is fantastic and I wanted to tell you that the cover for your book is so pretty:)

  • So far this year the best book I’ve read is Sky Without Stars. Hands down. It was the book I wasn’t expecting to love as much as I did and it just surprised me. I can’t wait for the next book 🙂

  • My favorite book that I have read so far this year would be Rabbit & Robot by Andrew Smith. It is probably the funniest book I’ve ever read. Laughed out loud several times.

  • fav book so far that I’ve read this year has been deadman’s hand journals of Octavia Hallows but also loved M. Robinson’s book Choosing Us but so many more

  • The best book I’ve read this year is Cress by Marissa Meyer because it is so amazing!

The book trailer looks so cool!!The music is so intense, I loved it!

  • My favourite book this year and my all-time favourite book are the same: Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. I’ve read it nine times in total, and two of those are from this year. It has everything I love: magic, humour, romance, and an American writing about Britain. I can’t wait until the sequel comes out in September!
I thought the advert was brilliant! It wasn’t cheesy or poorly made like other book adverts, and it truly made me want to read the book. Well done!

  • I am rereading the Harry Potter series with my daughter and it just reminds me how amazing J.K. Rowling is and how Harry Potter changed the YA genre. If I had to pick one then Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

  • I’d have to say The Wicked King by Holly Black — even though the cliffhanger killed me! Ugh, it was so good though.

  • I’ve been reading the Dawn of the Arcana which is a manga series. It’s interesting and a good read set in a fantasy land with conspiracy and a love triangle.

  • My favorite book this year is probably the one I finished most recently. “My Life as a White Trash Zombie” has it all! It’s funny, has a mystery, has the fantasy element, and is relatable to real-world happenings.
Your book trailer looks great! Definitely eye catching, I love the gold on red!

  • My fave book so far this year is The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton. Her beautiful writing and expansive imagination brought me to a whole new world she has built. I’ve never read anything like this and I’ve been enthralled the moment I opened the book.

You book trailer is amazing and makes me want to read your book!

  • I’ve only read one book the year! I really need to step up my game and I’m planning on it this month. But it was War Storm by Victoria Aveyard, the series is really good!

  • I didn’t finish a book yet this year, but i’m currently reading Secret of the India Orchid by Nancy Campbell Allen, it’s a romance mystery and it’s imposible to let go of the book until i’m satisfied with the story.
The book trailer was very interesting, it seem that the music was rushing me to read the book and it actually work. I’m going to read this book next.

  • Christina Carolin

Narrowing it down to the best book is hard. But if I had to I would say Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young. I enjoyed every tiny morsel! 😀

  • (I commented two days ago and my post hasn’t shown up, so if I have two entries, it’s an accident)

My favourite book of this year and of all time is Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. It has everything I love: magic, romance, and Americans writing about Britain. I can’t wait for the sequel to come out this September!

I thought the book trailer was brilliant! I wasn’t cheesy and homemade like other adverts are, it was professional and gave me a real sense of what the book will be like. It truly made me want to read it! Congratulations!
